October Meeting 2025

As our Chairwoman was otherwise engaged October's meeting was opened by our Treasurer Linda; who updated the group on planning for the most important meet of the year....the Christmas Party, handled the notices and introduced our speaker for the day - Deb Cooper.

Deb kept us enthralled during her very entertaining talk "Lines and Wrinkles", even promising us beauty tips if we stayed awake until the end. She brought along a good selection of her work, explaining how she became a full time mixed media textile artist. She taught us the meaning behind words we had never heard of and generously passed on tips and tricks to source materials and create amazing textile effects like those seen in her sketchbooks and art works.
