Joining and Fees

Meetings are held at Foulden Village Hall, Main Street, Foulden generally on the second Saturday of the month and start at 2pm unless otherwise stated.

 

Existing members renew at the January meeting, paying £25 for the year. If subscription is not paid within three months, membership lapses. New members can join at any meeting and pay £25 until September when only half the annual fee is due.

 

Workshops are paid for by the members attending with the total cost divided amongst participants. The estimated cost is publicised with details of the workshop at meetings. A deposit is required when booking which is not refundable unless there is a waiting list. The numbers attending workshops are set by the tutor. Members have priority for places but guests may attend if there are spaces. 

 

To ensure membership records are up to date and to comply with data protection law, members are asked to complete a new enrolment form annually. This also ensures members only receive the communications they request (usually by email). 

 

Membership fee can be paid by cash, cheque or BACS. Bank details are available with the enrolment form if you need more information speak to the treasurer at the meeting or email bordertextilegroup@gmail.com

Visitors are very welcome for a maximum of two meetings per year – £4.50 per meeting.

Coffee, tea and biscuits are always available for a small charge. There is usually a sales table (contributions welcome) and a raffle.
